Appendix 5: Data snapshot for customer invoices

When you generate a customer e-invoice, you have the option to create a data snapshot that freezes the data and saves it in the EISINV* table.

Invoices saved in a snapshot cannot be modified.

Advantages for creating a snapshot:

  • Transforms and restructures data to make mapping easier
  • Enables unique mapping with a unique set of tables, regardless of invoice origin: sales or customer BP.
  • Improves performance by using scripts instead of complex formulas.

The classes and representations used to generate the XML files use the tables listed below. The readable PDF document that can be associated with XML mapping rules also uses these tables.
